Title: Refund & Cancellation Policy

At The Wacky Photo Booth, we understand that plans can change. Our goal is to keep the process clear, fair, and simple while ensuring we reserve and prepare properly for every event.


1. Non-Refundable Retainer

To secure your event date, we require a non-refundable retainer at the time of booking.
This retainer covers administrative time, scheduling, and reserving your event date exclusively.

Once paid, the retainer cannot be refunded under any circumstance.


2. Remaining Balance

The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event.
If the balance is not paid by the due date, your reservation may be canceled and no refund will be issued.


3. Client Cancellations

If you choose to cancel your booking:

  • More than 7 days before the event:
    Only the retainer is forfeited. Any additional payments made may be refunded.

  • Within 7 days of the event:
    The full amount of the booking becomes non-refundable.

This is because staffing, preparation, and scheduling have already been committed.


4. Rescheduling Policy

Life happens — we allow one complimentary reschedule, based on availability.

If your new date is unavailable or you choose not to reschedule, the booking will be considered a cancellation under the terms above.


5. Cancellations by The Wacky Photo Booth

If we must cancel due to emergency, illness, or unforeseen circumstances:

  • You will receive a full refund, including the retainer.

  • We will also make every effort to help you find a trusted alternative provider.

This is extremely rare and only used as a last resort.


6. Outdoor Events and Weather

The client is responsible for providing a safe, covered, and dry area for outdoor events.

If weather or venue conditions make it unsafe to operate the equipment:

  • We may pause or cancel service for safety reasons.

  • No refunds will be issued when weather prevents proper setup.

We strongly recommend always having a backup indoor or covered space.


7. Partial Refunds

If technical issues occur due to our equipment and we cannot provide full service:

  • A partial refund may be issued based on the portion of time affected.

  • If the entire event cannot be serviced, a full refund will be issued.

Technical issues caused by the venue (power loss, restricted access, weather, etc.) are not eligible for refunds.
